washed my vibram kso's

I washed my vibram KSO's in the washing machine on cold/cold and let them air dry. On ym firt run I had to stop after 30 minutes because of a hellacious blister I could feel forming and couldn't bear any more of. After I got home I noticed a blister forming on my heel as well. Does anyone else experience this after washing their vibrams?

I've had a total of two blisters on my feet from VFFs. I got one on each foot, on the ball, between my big toe and first small toe. They both happened within the first month of regular wear. After that, they toughened up into new callouses and I haven't had any trouble since. I have not had any problems with any of my VFFs after washing them. At the time, I owned a pair of Sprints and KSOs, and now also have black Treks and white and green Bikilas. I haven't had any trouble with either of the two newer pairs, and I wear all of my VFFS so often that I barely remember what regular shoes feel like. How long have you had your KSOs?

Been wearing VFFs for over three years now. No problems, not with old pairs, not with new pairs since. But then again I do some full on barefoot running, and when I wear shoes I never wear socks, so my feet are probably a bit more on the tough side.
